Little Guys

It's pretty safe to assume that, despite the difficulties, humanity would have regular contact with the Little Guys. In fact, some of the Foundations, like NARL, IEX and the Life Foundation, would pretty much demand it. The Little Guy homeworld (and system)has lots of adventure potential, from rampaging kill-bots to stone-age survivors. Not to mention looting, I mean, archeological expeditions, to the reamining cities and space-borne habitats.

Bayern mention Littleendians and Bigendians, and that the moonbase surviors were Littleendians. Were the Bigendians another nation, or were they a completely different species. I have my own thoughts, but I'm curious as to the notions of others.

I don't think regular contact's likely. They're halfway to the Pleides, on the other side of a 15ly gap.
That said, a "Bayern II" scenario to visit their homeworld and fight the machines to steal their stuff would be great.

hey, look at that! a red dwarf exactly 7.6 LY between the two! who would have known.

this adventure possiblity could be a lot of fun, even if the bounty won didn't offset anyones technology toooo far.

maybe slightly better personal laser weapons, and a lot of fun running away from killer robots with chain saws.

but again, maybe something on the outside of what the focus should be imho.

more 2 cents for the pile.

star vikings anyone? In my 2300 universe I had not just a system but a small pocket empire destroyed by the bots. My players discovered cemetary worlds one after the other. All devastated by.....VIRUS.
Yeah, I know its WAY off canon but my players loved it. One was terrified of any electrical equipment, a gung-ho player usually scared of nothing, because he was wearing half the earth/cybertech sourcebook!
