Valen Heavy Industries is please to announce the Thunder and Lightening Class Fighters. These two state of the art TL14 combat craft are specially designed to fit into the 50-dton bays, normally used for carrying a modular cutter, on a standard Type-MC “Broadsword” class Mercenary Cruiser.
The Thunder class is our space superiority fighter. Designed to go toe-to-toe with the best of the opposition. Just the item need to break a blockade or insure the safe transit of your troops.
The Lightening Class is our ground support version of the Thunder class. It swaps the twin beam lasers of the Thunder class for a double fusion gun turret. Additional changes have been made to optimize atmospheric performance.
Both craft are 25 dtons standard displacement and with some small modifications, a Type MC’s cutter bay can be modified to carry two fighters of your choice. All this month, were offering a package deal, 85 MCr and VHI will modify your mercenary cruiser and fit it out either of the two fighters. For 160 MCr, we’ll modify both bays and supply your with your choice of any four fighters. Its a steal!
