Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.
Is there a list or sectors that were developed by 3rd parties? if so does anyone have a list.. for example Meshan Sector was developed by some guys in NZ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FSpace_Publications)
By "developed" do you mean detailed beyond bare UWPs?
I note that you've posted this in the Classic area. Are you interested only in sectors developed during the CT run? Quite a few were actually developed during the MegaTraveller period, including Meshan.
The Classic sectors were (off the top of my head):
Spinward Marches - GDW
Solomani Rim - GDW
Gvurrdon (partial) - GDW
All 35 sectors in the rectangle that bounds the Third Imperium were given maps with partial data by GDW in the Atlas)
Trojan Reach (partial) - GW (then published by GDW)
Deneb (partial) - DGP
Corridor (partial) - DGP
Vland (partial) - DGP
The Beyond - Paranoia Press
Vanguard Reach - Paranoia Press
Far Frontiers (partial) - FASA/Dale Kemper
Reaver's Deep (partial) - FASA/Keith Brothers
Old Expanses (partial) - FASA
Ley Sector - Judges Guild
Maranatha-Alkahest - Judges Guild
Crucis Margin - Judges Guild
Glimmerdrift Reach - Judges Guild
The Judges Guild sectors were explicitly replaced during Classic. The Paranoia Press sectors were overwritten during MegaTraveller but have since been restored but toned down.

I'm interested in those that are not so widely know.. for example it looks like the Meshan was officially approved.. were there more sectors like this that had this sort of approval?.. I half remember there was some guys in Brazil as well? (could be my memory though)
Don McKinney's page is good, links to download the old Terra Traveller Times!
The History of the Imperium Working Group (HIWG) did a lot of development all over the map during the MegaTraveller period, and some of their fanzine and "sorta sanctioned" projects survived into the TNE period.
Yiklerzdanzh and the other half of Far Frontiers arose from those projects. So did Dagudashaag (Signal GK magazine). There was a bunch of work on Rebellion era on Lishun that I haven't seen hide nor hair of in years.
DGP added parts of Core, all of Massilia, and snips of Magyar and Aslan space to their run during MegaTraveller. GDW added Hinterworlds, Diaspora, and parts of Julian space to their list. Trojan Reach got a lot more attention as well. Late MT also saw Gateway given some attention, but most of the Gateway Domain would be the focus of T20 a few years later.
I can remember seeing some adverts in Challenge indicating that at some point a group was working on Spica Sector, but I cannot remember if it actually reached publication or not.
The adverts I remember seeing, and which I am currently searching my back issues for were by a company calling themselves 'Wrecked Enterprises' or something like that. I'll post a scan of the advert once I've located one.
I'll take a look, any idea which issue there or thereabouts? - I don't think anyone on these boards certainly used any of their stuff when developing Spica. I still have the maps from AOTI that I scanned and coloured to show world allegiances within the sector.
Wonder what ever happened to it?
