Legible Map of Reavers’ Deep, needed

For an upcoming adventure I need a legible Map of Reavers’ Deep needed. I do own the Cargonaught sourcebook but found the map does not copy well.

Does anyone have a PDF or actual map that they could send me or know of a source (I have heard TD#16). Need to be able to clearly map out the names of the different systems. PM me or respond on the board.

Thx.

Unfortunately, Jeff, Berka does not have the whole sector mapped out in those nice hexes...similarly, the interactive map is not good to print from (b&w) once I find the sector because of the backsplash.

Hmm correct me if I'm wrong.... but wasn't the entire Reaver's Deep sector done by the Judge's Guild extensively for many years?

If so, then it's possible for you to get info or copies of the data from former Judge's Guild items on Reavers Deep. Maybe some player still possesses those Judge's Guild maps and adventures and they can forward or PDF you the info.

Altho I'm not sure how "official" or up-to-date their Traveller products are. Someone else can elaborate better than me here.

OK, you're wrong.

The Keith brothers churned out lots of stuff about Reaver's Deep. It was published by various companies, including GDW.

I don't recall Judges' Guild publishing any of it. Their stuff was set in their version of Ley Sector and thereabouts, until they had their licence pulled.

Maladominus, I think you are getting it confused with Gamelords stuff. They never got around to publishing the whole sector guide. Something that Cargonaught did later on but whilst the map is legible in the supplement, it is not when you try to photocopy it.

Ahh I stand corrected. And yes, I did get confused with the Gamelords products, as many of the 3rd party Traveller items were packaged similarly.

BTW.... if any of you DO find a nice complete Reaver's Deep sector map, please send me a heads up! I am setting up for a campaign in the Rim area.... (around Magyar and SolRim sectors), so the Reaver's Deep sector is close enough that my players could possibly wander there in the future.

Scout out eBay, occasionally the Cargonaught Press guide to the Sector comes up there. Or as I indicated earlier BeRka has nice subsector maps.

But, Maladominus that is the point of this whole post, so that I am sure if others have it, they would be happy to share with you as well.

I thought Reaver's Deep was the area set aside for FASA to develope originally. That would mean that if Seeker would ever get off their butts and start selling stuff you could get a good map, because if that is the case, and I am right about FASA, then they have one.

Or Galactic and using Cosmographer to produce your maps. Or since you have the maps but not the capability to reproduce it just put it into a Cosmographer Sector template. (It doesn't take that long.) I'll see if I have a data set I can use.

Again, it does not produce a Sector map that is printable. The search continues...

Remember, I am not adverse to print sources so long as I know that it is legible and printable (for a handout for players).

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Is the text just too small, or do you need to print in black and white, or...?

If you print that map on two sides of a sheet, with half a sector on each side, and your printer is reasonable quality, you can read and use it. At least, I've been using a Ley sector map made that way for about a year. But putting it all on one side is probably too much, yeah.

Well I have a legible printable one. Where should I send it? Posting it here will take too long. Or am I going to have to import it into cosmographer and let you print it over several pages using CC2View? (More work than I have time to do before Next Friday.) What are you looking for?

Or you can print it yourself using HE2, which the distribution includes the sec file for Reaver's Deep. (HE2 is free software.)

Yes, Morte I am after one that I can print either using a conventional B&W laser printer (via computer file) or a print source (eg. a magazine). I do possess the Cargonaught Supplement on the Deep but find that it does not take to photocopiers too well.
