Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.
Woundn't they make use of smell more as well. For instance they would have scent based sensors that would be hard for a less "nosy" creature to counter

If I recall correctly though the K'Kree do not trust any of their subject races with combat roles, treating them more like helots than vassels.
As I recall the preferred method of K'kree warfare calls for sterilization; nukes, ship to surface meson fire, bioweapons et al do very well against foxholes, if they do need to send in infantry they'll make damn sure resistance is minimal.
And these tactics while useful against a lower tech G,naak world may be effective but against the 3I or solomani would not work out for them for a few reason.
1. 3I/solomani have better warships that carry more weapons system per ton. odds are they will control near orbit of any contested world.
2. armor/battledress units are gonna demolish k'kree infantry. there is simply no comparison.
This is not necessarily true. The 3I/Solomani may have better warships and those ships may carry more weapons, but there is always a way around them without confrontation.

Trojan Horse: Have a merchant that trades with 3I/Solomani worlds deliver passengers that are infected with some form of a dreaded disease. Once the world has reached a desired level of functioning population, send in the infantry. Or better yet, If the world is interdicted, clear away those ships and let the desperate escape to other worlds. Imagine the destruction. Severall worlds quarantined and blockaded, trade interrupted, etc.</font>
A smart K'kree commander could wear down the armor/battledress units by disrupting their sleep cycles. Dropping a few artillery rounds when your enemy is sleeping then fading away can have a serious effect.</font>
If the K'kree infantry is going to overrun or charge a position, send in civilians ahead of them. 3I/Solomani soldiers/marines will have to think twice and get orders to fire on the civvies in order to fire on the K'kree.</font>
1.) K'kree can and do use remote-controlled robot drones for a number of roles. They use miniaturized robots for non-combat tasks as well.
2.) K'kree use battledress and it is certainly not inferior to human battledress. They may pose a larger target (not by that much anyway), but this is offset by the greater combat load.
3.) K'kree can and do use enclosed vehicles, but they require specialized training for this and do so less frequently than other races. K'kree individuals capable of operating small craft are usually considered to be somewhat mentally unstable.
