Prologue Edit: I don't blame Marc for anything here - I've experienced issues with printers myself.

Main Message: Whilst I know it was only an estimate, it's a bit of kick to the gut missing the Christmas deadline on T5... especially given I have some plans for playing it during the holidays with my kids (not possible now).

Does anyone know if there is a chance of getting the CD a bit earlier? More than willing to chip in a little extra for the added delivery, hassle and all. Just would REALLY love to spend Christmas afternoon introducing my boys to the Spinward Marches like I has my uncle do for me at their age.

Maybe pick up the CT CD?

The extras on the disk (many, many extras) can be converted to T5 once you've got it.

T5 has more complex mechanics than any other version of Traveller I've played, so something like CT might be a better start, anyway.

I've already got some of the Mongoose stuff already (I was told it would be mostly compatible with T5), I was just hoping to be poring through Marc's new stuff rather than start on one ruleset then move to a slightly different one.

Thanks for the suggestion though. I might still pick up the CD for the convertable adventures & supplements.
