I just got the disk, and did a quick peruse last night. Some first impressions are: Impressive body of work for the most part, including all the LBBs in the chargen, combat is still a bit...interesting. World Gen, top notch, Scouts improved. Starships, looks like a combo of Book 2 and Fire Fusion, and Steel, a little confusing, I will have to revisit starship design. Like most things, I wish they had given an example for Character generation, starship build, and world building on a step by step basis.
What I do not like: Still tying it to the old timeline: Classica era, Rebellion, Virus, New Era. I would have preferred Classical era, maybe updated with the Larsen Whipsnade "Wounded Colossus" mod.
No regrets for the purchase.
