Is T5 the new T20 system?

Blue Ghost

SOC-14 5K

I'm confused on that point. Are two separate games being produced, as well as the reprinting of the old game, AS WELL as the continued publication of GURPS?

Second question; isn't this a bit confusing?

The way i understand it is:

Games being worked on/published:

1)Classic traveller - reprints from FFE of the GDW game in total of the LBBs and such legends.

2)GRIPS Traveller- Dynamic online roleplaying in the Traveller universe.

3)GURPS Traveller - the universe as if Stephron was not assasinated by Dulinor, using the venerable GURPS system.

4)T20 Traveller - the popular Dungeons and Dragons system adapted for Traveller - A side note: Does anyone remember a particualr mountain in the lands of Greyhawk?

5)Traveller 5 - Marc Miller works out the bugs to create a modern game system to take Traveller gaming into the new century.

Yep, ALL of these games are being produced concurrently. Why? Licensing = money. Money = more good stuff devolped for Traveller's future. More power to you, Marc!

Maybe White Wolf needs a Sci-Fi game (didn't they have one?) They LIKE big pre-written universes and easy mechanics. Let's see: Traveller uses one to fifteen - White Wolf uses one to five dots. Divide by three, nearest. My Characters is 222521 ... dots.
Personally, I shudder at explaining LaGrange Points to Goths, but wouldn't mind the New-age mysticism they might bring (they'd all play Darrians and Vagr, anywho!) :}

White Wolf did have a Sci-Fi system. It's called Trinity - formerly known as Aeon Trinity (Viacom said it was too similar to their Aeon Flux). It's now been crowded out by it's "ancestor" game Aberrant. Where the Aberrant universe is about 400 years before the Trinity universe - just like the rest of the White Wolf Vampire

ark Ages series & such. I haven't seen anything new for it in a while. Neat Psionics, tho.

GRIP Traveller is not a version of Traveller, but a tool allowing people to play any RPG (not just Traveller) over the net. It does carry a reprint of CT Books 1-3, and once we finish with T20, we will also be revising GRIP Traveller to be VERY adaptable to T20.

FFE is doing the reprints.

How is GRIP's reprints different from FFE?

In the GRIP: Traveller edition is a reprint of books 1-3 only

Could it be barrier peaks?
What is the answer?
