Is Starfall playtest still open?

I just posted a question on the Moot thread about it, but I have no idea if the Starfall playtest is still open or not (or if it's going to sit in limbo for months and months like the Guidebook playtest did until it suddenly got restarted again
).

I have the same question/concern. The activity on the Moot is down to a trickle, and I've posted regarding content and received no response. As for the bit about limbo, QLI has already told us that the product itself is behind several other major items in the production schedule, so there may well be some 'arrested development'.

I'm not really sure why Starfall didn't get its own board (unless there's some software limitation preventing this). Having a separate board tends to focus things a bit more (the Spica project had a lot of traffic on it before people lost interest, at least)

The Moot board itself is useless - traffic on it has always been non-existent, since it serves no real purpose.

I wonder what happened to that Starports project too - that has its own board but AFAIK nothing ever came of it.

Similar story here. I'm actually running a game in the Starfall/Eda clusters, and I've been using the playtest PDFs and editing the text for player handouts or GM use, so I have quite a few things I could say about it (especially its usability for GMs). But I'm not sure if there's any point.

Believe me, Morte, as far as all of us who are authors are concerned, there is definitely a point. I can't speak for Daniel, Jon, Peter, Shane, or any of the other contributors, but I personally would very much like to get feedback on what was written. If QLI decides not to go ahead with the product, perhaps we can self-edit and post the material online here for CotI User benefit. But the product can only get better with feedback.

So if I posted something on the starfall thread I'd get some kind of response from the authors at least? OK... I'll have another look at the stellar/planetary data.
