In the Name of the Dawn - 4 player traveller adventure

SOC-8
My 4th Traveller adventure for March Harrier Publishing - In the Name of the Dawn - an underdog story where pacifist space monks are attacked by savage space pirates who want a mythical treasure on the Edenic Dawnworld.

I've had a lot of fun running it over the years (from TravCon UK 2018 onwards) - and it produces some great debates between the PC's on what to do and around faith and truth. It's inspired from such diverse sources as the Name of the Rose, David Gemmell's White Wolf book and Halo 1. Unlike my previous games, you don't play powerful political figures in Traveller, but even the humblest monk still gets to make decisions that can reshape whole star sectors.

It's now published on DriveThruRPG as a PDF

It is a 4 player scenario with pre-generated PC's designed for 3-4 hours of play and is ideal for convention play.

"Your quiet monastic life at the Monastery of the New Sun is about to be shattered by the arrival of some very unwelcome visitors. The Bloodwolf pirates think you have a great treasure hidden away and their Vargr noses are on the scent; their claws and weapons at the ready.

You may have chosen peaceful, contemplative life on the otherwise uninhabited paradise of Dawnworld, but you’re not without resources, determination and secrets to save the monastery and discover the truth.

Even the humblest of monks can change the fate of a system or sector!"
