Improved Laser Weapons

Ranger; yeah, that was our understanding way back when; it was the difference in tech level between weapon and armor, and not so much a modifier based on a tech level. I guess I goofed again, even when I tried to explain my mixup.

Oh well. We never used that "rule" so... all's well that ends well

313; you could always shell out $40 for the games' reprint. I think all of the Striker books are in FFE-5. There's something like three or four Striker rule books and a series of charts. FFE-5 also has all the other games like Snapshot and Azhanti High Lightening, and a couple others that escape me right now. They all have various LASER weapon descriptions in them along with a bunch of other stuff.

I hope this helps.

I wouldn't give up on the rule just yet, it just needs to be thought through a bit more and playtested a bit.
It could be limited to laser weapons versus reflec/ablat/combat
and
projectile weapons versus cloth/mesh/combat.

It is an added bit of book-keeping though :(
