You may have something there. Personally I think I am more interested in T5 than T20. I also never was a fan of WOC which may play a small part of it.

Interesting theory...
In my opinion it is quite rare for a creator to risk having his thunder stolen by selling up some of his intellectual real-estate.
I think that Marc was probably impressed by the commitment of the D20 crowd and figure why not double travellers chance at making a comeback.
