Heaven and Earth

Hey Does anyone have any of the later Versions of Heaven and Earth?

Preferably V1.07 or 1.08 as I would like to edit world profiles as V1.04 does not allow you to do.

I just downloaded it a couple weeks ago and it was version 1.03. I must have gotten it off an old mirror site...

24th February 2001 H&E V1.0.8 released to WBD Mailing List members as work-in-progress Beta.

Seems to be in the land of the Perpetual Betas...

I thought I heard that Developement Stoped on it. I heard the betas went up to 1.08. I was hoping that one of those nice people who happen to have one of the betas where reading this forum.

Or one of the people involved in the development could help me out.

I did, but the 1.0.8 beta keeps crashing on me with the error "File not found"

Unzip it in the 1.0.4 directory (backup the pre-existing files before)

works ok here

You guys need to install V1.04 then unzip the files into the same diretory or just unzip and copy and paste them in the same directory as v1.o4 is in.

Hello.
Dont know the version number i have but if you open the HES file in notepad NOT word you can change anything but stay in the columns or it dont like it. You cant generate system info without a stars data. You can add systems or delete them or just change anything this way.
The version i have was found by searching Google with just (Heaven & Earth).

Im currently converting most of the Galaxy 24 maps to H&E already done all of the maps for gal24c from farway to ley & gashikan to the sector south of sol (no i dont have my map handy) but if you want them i can send them (allways assuming im not breaking the law (i dont think theres copyright on gal24c if your not selling it not shore about H&E))

I would like to see those maps as well, please???

id like to get ahold of some of those too. One can never have too many sectors. some of the ones that i would like to see are the core route ones or the rim route ones if you have ever heard of them. I downloaded them but when i tried to view them they didnt work correctly. I could not see them in gal24.

I dont know how to delete stuff from this so ?????.
The Core route and i think the Rime route need Gal 24c you can down load that from Jims Home site (if i remember right its an upgrade not a new program and you must upgrade through the versions.
The files i have for gal24 i have swipped from all over the net, i was trying to make a map of known space for CT and most of the maps where for TNE so i used the large scale map from somewhere to guesstimate where the empires borders where (isnt it amazing how all empires borders stop at the edge of a sector map).
Next question.
How do you place files on the site. (i dont have a site (i only play about on the net)).
I currently have the bottom two rows of the Zhodane Empire if anyone has more PLEASE.
Also looking for any ASLAN,VARGE,KKREE,HIVE or basically any other empires (the galaxy is BIG and they can be added anywhere).
If anyone has a listing of the gateway sectors i will enter them into H&E (always assuming this dosnt break copyright) someone would tell me if i does (I assume someone in the company reads all mail posted on the site ?????).
if you still want files please tell me which and what type H&E Gal24.
All gal24 files done but not that many of H&E but im getting there.
