Hasta la Visa

My bank has started offering personalised credit cards. I gotta say, I'm really tempted...

Personalized as in you supply the artwork??? How f'ing cool is that?!?!?!??? Pity BofA (Bank of America) will likely never do it.

Jesse

That is cool.

And by the way, Jesse, you mean BoA, as in boa, as in "constrictor." 'Cause BoA's a snake! :D

Great Thread title and cool concept!

Had a quick play, but don't think I'm ready to move banks just for this though. It would be nice to have though.

What would be really cool would be to photoshop lots of technobabble etc to make the card look like a science fictiony card with little LEDs, text windows etc. Or you dress it up as a security access card. That might be quite nifty too.

Something like this as a starting point is what I was thinking. Even as an end if you like a CT LBB minimalist look ;)

Might not pass the bank's various limitations though.

If only it was American Express, then I'd tag the slogan "Don't leave Homeworld without it!" for the commercials :)

I was debating adding a matching "EXIT" logo just in front of the VISA, maybe I still will just for a giggle :smirk:

Nah, can't match the font. Oh well, just as well I'm sure.

Though I like Andrew's first pick, you would need to move the Beowulf up to the top of the card to make it work well in offsetting the numbers. You don't want nothing but starry expanse at the top of the card. (Though, I like the TAS card best. :D )

The TAS card is inspired! I'm going to have a go at another idea tonight!

Just as a matter of interest, proper punctuation would dictate that there be an apotostrophe after the 's' in Travellers in 'Travellers' Aid Society', but does it appear in the official books?
