GURPS to d20

Does anyone know where I can find anything on converting GURPS to d20? I would think it would be kinda simple. Anyways, any help here would be hot!

GURPS:Trav being the deviant from the normal Traveller-style character generation style does make this a little harder, but for the most part, you can follow the same thought processes you used for the GURPS character and apply them through the T20 system instead. Consider the various service templates in G:T to be a term or two in the appropriate service in T20, grow the skills in similar *proportions* (ignore the hard numbers, since one game is bell curve and the other isn't), transfer equipment, and you're largely there. The important thing is to not sweat the whole "balance" thing endemic to point-based games (and, frankly, to most forms of D20), and just build the character *as envisioned*.

So, NO, there isn't a formula. Sorry if you were looking for one...

Both. Any? I'm serious actually.

The first campaign setting supplement we are working on is the Gateway Domain sourcebook (Ley, Gateway, Glimmerdrift Reaches, and Crusis Margin sectors on the trailing edge of the Imperium), set around the year 1000 (well starting about 992). The Solomani Rim war has only recently kicked off and it is an interesting time. I'd expect a Dec/Jan release on this.

Also in the works is a New Era sourcebook that will rework the Virus era a little bit and once again begin moving the timeline forward. I don't have a project release date on this one yet.

We are also looking at the possibility of other era sourcebooks, such as the Ancients era.

These campaign sourcebooks, like the Linkworlds material will be pretty much system generic and quite suitable for use with any version of Traveller.

OOOOOooooo! Now that sounds cool! Tech level 18+ stuff!

Laser weapons with internal power packs, small ships that do jump-6, pocket universes...oops...I'm drooling on the keyboard...

It's not really a character building problem, I'd like to be able to convert equipment from GURPS UltraTech I & II, BioTech, Robots, Space, etc... to d20. Some of the items already exist (actually a lot), but there's some nifty ones that I don't know if I'd be able to do it myself. Maybe I'll mess around tonite & see. If I come up with anything, I'll post it here.
