GT: Starship Forms and other Q?

I have seen somewhere here that they were going to put out a GT: Starship Forms book. Is that still going to be printed?

Will there be a another printing of GT: Starships?

Will either of them be all 4e?

Is it true that there working on a Floor Plans set for a Starport? How about the same for a Startown Floor Plan?

And finally, is it true that they have the cure for brain cancer down in W23's Basement that involves Giant Red Ants, Soy Beans, and the University of Regina Chearleading Squad?

I most know these things.....

This is only my understanding, based upon my wandering through the fora, and not at all official.

1) No, they are not going to print a starship forms book.

2) Very unlikely.

There seems to be little support for Traveller over at SJG now. Interstellar War is the only book for G4 that I purchased besides the basic rule books. I don't see any others in the near future. In fact they never finished the series they had going. I truly wanted the Navy book. Sigh.

I loved GURPS Traveller and have a copy of nearly every thing they published for Traveller. I think it was the best version out there.

Oh well, I can't even find GURPS players in my area, much less any Traveller gamers, in any version.

Damn I need a beer to cry in.

You do know about Grand Fleet? It is (as far as I can tell) the final draft of GT:Imperial Navy, minus all the GURPS parts. It is everything you need for the Imperial Navy.

I feel your pain. Much of the GT stuff being on hold has to do with
a) Not all the GURPS 4th edition core books are out
b) all the core GURPS authors are busy writing/editing the updated GURPS 4th edition core books,
c) There is a derth of new GT Authors to write new GT books.
d) Beyond a few sector books I've seen proposed, what other GT books do we need?

This last one is ususally the one that stumps most people. If you've got any cool ideas, let me know we can propose them to SJGames.

No I wasn't, it looks interesting. Although I'm not a big fan of pdf books. By the time you print it out, put it in a binder it costs as much as a real book and isn't as pretty. But I'll get use to them I guess.

I would like to see a conversion compendium for all the equipment, weapons, vehicle, ships, character and race templates / lenses. This I'd take in pdf. There are 15 regular books, I don't remember how many comic sized. These are have items which need to be converted to 4th ed.

How's that for a list.

This requires the publication of GURPS Ultra-Tech (scheduled for November, real book), plus GURPS Vehicle Designer (Scheduled for unknown, pdf/POD). So some time next year would be the earliest possible. So all the items from 16 books converted into one GURPS Traveller: Technology book. Anything else?

"GURPS Traveller: Technology Book (4th ed)" I like the name. Cool. Yes. When will it be ready?

Ultra-Tech I will buy. Still trying to decide on Space. I'm not sure how it relates to Traveller and Traveller is the only space game for me.
I'll probably buy Vehicle Designer but being lazy I'd rather have my vehicles already designed. I also like lobster & oysters but don't like to peel my food either.
