Greets

After looking through several of my gaming boxes and seeing my Traveller books: mostly the first edition and megatraveller stuff: got me to consider putting together a campaign.

I have gotten a hold of a ton of traveller stuff and wondered how complete was the Traveller News Service archives are after looking at my Traveller Aid Society books and Challeger Mags, plus who knows what other sources...

First task is to organization the books and few box sets I have which was several copier boxes full of stuff!

Hey dood! how are you doing!

I'm a CT-junkie myself (though I did obtain MegaTraveller when it came out.)

Doesn't it feel good to did that stuff out and re-enter the world of Traveller?

i recently got the bug and have been re-acquiring a bunch of CT stuff off ebay. Just got a copy of Merchant Prince coming my way (that was a hard find!)

my CT group of old has been married and off on their own for some time now. So I read the CT stuff in solitary. I also read D. Weber and Ringo to get my far future fix! (right now i've just delved into Neuromancer after finishing of Silverberg's The Alien Years. )

Anyways, howdy!

Welcome to the boards Eric. We are a relatively friendly bunch and I'm sure the rest of us will welcome you with open arms.

We hope you enjoy your time with us.

After looking at all the stuff I own, it makes me wonder how they ever went out of business!

Thanks for the welcome and hopefully I can unleash the Traveller U. on my players soon!

Being new to list myself, I do not know how many of you know about FFE releasing CT reprints.

Being a CT fan from way back (Late 70s), I was thrilled to see FFE releasing these books of reprints of the classic books, JTASs, & games from the GDW days.

I gave away all my original CT books, except for my original LBBs, and now I have them again in these new large sized books.

Purchasing these FFE books my be cheaper that attempting to acquire the original books.

One other reprint I have found to be quite handy is QLI/FFE's reprint of CT books 1-3 in one book. It's just slightly smaller than the originals since it was made to fit inside GRIP software boxes. I keep a copy handy during my Traveller games (regardless of system) and it would be cool if somehow books 4-7 could be reprinted this way as well. While I have the CT book and supplement reprints the FBB (Floppy Big Books) aren't as handy to me as either the LBB or portrait 8.5x11 books.

As for organizing your books, I suggest The Illustrated Traveller Bibilography. If you need more info than that BITS has two books. the Traveller Bibliography and The Periodical Bibliography.

Anywho, welcome and all. ^_^

HTH.
