I'm working on my Female Aslan Lawyer character and have a question. One of the mustering out benefits is a Gold Watch. There is no mention of this with the other Mustering Out benefits.

Does this provide any other benefit other than a timepiece that can be pawned off later?

I'd make it a hi-tech watch with all the neato features. Something that the charater will be proud of and find use for.

Gold watches are also often marked with guild affiliation on the back - a passport to connections.

I have been considering modifying it to "small personal posession" or "Career based personal posession", since the professional covers so many career choices. For instance, a professional entertainer, who may want a musical instrument, or a set of dancing shoes, or the Imperial equivelent of an Oscar for best actor, a Photojournalist may want a Holocamera, a doctor a set of medical instruments for making house calls, and so forth.
