Future T5 products?

I own every version of Traveller save for Mongoose version, because I don't like Mongoose.

While I want to buy T5, I don't really want a dead Traveller, just the one rulebook and that's it. I'm perfectly fine with CT, which to my mind, hasn't been improved on.

But if it gets future support, like Traveller did in the GDW days, or even the Gurps Traveller days, I probably will.

Considering the amount of interest being shown the kickstarter I would imagine that if there wasn't a plan for future products before, there is one now.

One of the stretch goals is the development of a players book later on (with backers getting a pdf of it free) [ and there was talk of a gm screen the future.

And the Kickstarter project has already included deckplans for the Scout and Beowulf. Does that qualify as support?

If it had been deck plans for the second most popular free trader in the Imperium (or deckplans for any useful ship that I didn't already have), it might have been a different story.

(Though to be completely honest, it wouldn't be, but that's because I don't send money over the internet, so I can't support any kickstarter projects, not even the ones that I would like to support).

The PCs in my game sit around during jump debating if these things ever existed.

Well, it should make you happy to know that our "trillium Industrial Group TPT-133 'Fat Cat' Logistics Transport" is License to include Traveller5 edition rules. And, FFE willing, I intend to publish many more 3rd party support products for Traveller5.
