I haven't played Traveller for a very long time, although I did for many years from the original books (I was just a school boy then) and then MegaTraveller (I was a University student then).

If I can find a keen group preferably in Frome (Somerset) or local to that, I'll gladly get all the books again and relaunch myself.

My preference is for MegaTraveller because it's a nice simplification that allows for more emphasis on roleplaying.

Hi there Deathwisher. I'm in Frome, so the distance isn't too bad, but I suppose not that convenient for a weekly meeting. JockStrapp and I are having an e-mail exchange to organise something, probably bi-weekly, but nothing definite yet (you out there Jock?). Hmmm, some interesting names coming out of Somerset....

I lived in Frome for 25 years and had a terrible time finding Trav players. I always refereed, with players coming and going as RL got a hold of them. You weren't in my group, were you?

Get back here then! Don't you know the Guardian rates Frome as the best place in the UK to move to at the moment? And apparently Madonna and some other 'stars' are looking at buying houses here!

Actually I found my neighbour just 6 houses down is interested! He knows of other RPG people in Frome, so it might snowball from there.
