FFW - counters?

Inspired by the tales from the FFW pbem thread, I was looking to see if the game was still available - and found this page at the FFE site for ordering the "Classic Games 1-6+":

http://www.farfuture.net/ffe/n5510e.html

Has anyone picked this up? Is it reprints of the boards and counter sheets on heavy stock, or just on regular paper?

Actually, the reprint book just has the rules and most of the play aids. There are photos of at least some of the countersheets and maps, but nothing one could use to play. However, reasonable images are available in the Downloads section of the Far Future site (www.farfuture.net).

If you use Cyberboard, Ghufran Syed created a Cyberboard gamebox that we used in the PBEM game. You can find it here..

The boxed set of the game pops up from time to time on E-bay and on other places.

I see. Rules are good, but unless I want to find a bunch of blank counters and start drawing - which would take a while. I'd need to know the counter mix though, does it give you enough information to get that at least?

I'm assuming that once you buy the rules, they make the downloads available to you?

I tried the link - 'not found'. I'll have a look for cyberboard, and the FFW gamebox.

Thanks a bunch for the information! Maybe I'll try ebay, curse those with deeper pockets...

You don't have to buy the reprints to get the free downloads, you just have to go here

It takes a while for the page to load because of the images.
