FFE006 out yet?

I certainly haven't gotten my copy yet...but I did just see some reference to two very interesting, as-yet-unavailable items on the TML:

1. Limited Edition Hardback
2. Traveller 25th Anniversary Set

I don't know what either of these items is...any ideas, folks?

I do.

1) read this page: http://www.warehouse23.com/info/le_hardbacks.html

Steve Jackson games is releasing a number of their books in special bound format, signed and numbered, and only ordering enough copies for the preorders. The GT Core rule book will be one (even though it's not on the page).

2) Read this page: http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/traveller/anniversaryset/

SJG is colleting a number of GURPS Traveller Books and offering them as a set. It should be available through gaming stores or by direct order from them.

At the risk of being annoying, has anyone seen FFE006 yet?

Regrettably, this has not shown up in my mailbox yet. What passes for my FLGS doesn't have it either.

WHOOSH! I think that was the sound of another ship date going by.

Actually I just got an email from Marc asking me how many copies of the JTAS reprint that we want for our online store. Looks like it should ship any day now.

The second reprint (according to the email) is at the printer and should ship in early June

Interestingly, the farfuture.net site has been revamped again - however, there's no longer any "status update" message on the home page.

Update: this just in from the TML:

"Today Marc received the first of the two Classic Traveller reprint volumes
that contain the Journal of the Travellers' Aid Society. Volume 1 has the
earliest issues, numbers 1 through 12. He said "Its beauuutiful". On
Saturday, May 4th he will have Volume 2 with issues 13 through 24. Marc is
going to be busy filling he pre-publish orders over the next few days. Now
would be a great time to zip your order onto the stack! Go to Marc's http://www.farfuture.net for more info."

The rework on the site just went up this afternoon. The idea is to add some much needed, non-linear navigation and a set of Quick Order pages so that those wishing to order books can cut to the chase. So far so good? Anyway, status of each book is now listed right on the order page, as well as on the linked page that describes the item in further detail.

Depending on the feedback that Marc and the page designer get (hint, hint), the revamp may continue across the rest of the site. You can tell which pages have been redone and which have not by the navigation grid at the top of the page and the little "--" signature for Pemaquid at the bottom left.

Hooray.

Pity I'm broker than broke this month.

I am increasingly of the opinion that RPGs are by the nature of their creation subjective phenomenon. due to the interaction between game designers, game masters, and game players all definitions, rules, settings, and adventures are mutable in acordance with the uncertainty principle as expounded by Heisenburg. This is of course merely my point of view.

Are these singular (006 only) or plural (006 & 007) expressions of joy?

Plural. I thanked FFE by pre-ordering the Challenge Magazine reprints. Estimated release date is sometime in July according to the acknowledgement.

Thanks for the info; I've let my FIGS know so they can dust off my pre-paid order from March. I'm looking forward to them - I missed several Journals back in the day so this'll be new 20-year-old material!
