FASA High Passage Magazine

I've got High Passage 2-5, and they're great (I like them much better than JTAS, actually). But the adventure in #5 hints that there will be a sequel in #6. Did number 6 ever come out? Was it's name changed?

And I have the same question for #1. Was it titled High Passage in issue #1, or did they change it's name?

Thanks in advance.

#6 hopefully, some time, will be produced by Seeker Gaming Systems with the sequel to the adventure promised plus all sorts of other goodies.

#1 was also called High Passage but the difference lies in that it basically became an outlet for Keith Bros. publishing juggernaught (making them much more interesting than the amatuerish Cunningham production).

"High Passage" #1 is an extreme rarity. Reprints turn up on e-bay but you hardly ever see an original HP#1. Harder to find than "Travellers Digest" #1.

"High Passage" morphed into "Far Traveller" which is the Keith bros outlet. FT published two issues before FASA left off publishing Traveller to concentrate on other lines.

Kafka,

I wasn't aware of Seeker Gaming Systems carrying on the High Passage fanzine. Interesting...
I'd love to see the second half of that adventure.

I, too, have HP 2-5, and FT 1-2, but am lacking High Passage #1 in my collection. I actually enjoy High Passage more than Far Traveller, as I thought the two FT zines weren't very well organized. Lots of great data, but I thought it could have been better presented. Still, I was happy to inherit them.

In fact, HP, FT and Third Imperium have been my inspiration to create Stellar Reaches. I definitely want to get copies of other fanzines as I come across them.

More later,
Flynn

Thanks for the info, guys. I guess I'll keep an eye out for a reprint of #1 on ebay. I'm not a collector, per se, so it's not that important to me to get "the real deal". I'd just like to see what the adventure was and to get the subsector map.
