Errata corrected printing of MT - does it exist?

I read somewhere on the web that there's an errata corrected version of MT that was printed in the end. Is this true, and in that case, how do I recognize it?

Regards

That would be in such major demand it would be unaffordable.

I have, however, seen erratta applied copies being sold as such over the years.

Dunno about fully errata corrected MT on the web, but my copies of the MT books have *the majority* of the errate already included in the printed text.

And, yes, I *was* sad enough to sit with each book and the errata booklet and tick off the errata that had been added to the books' text.......:)

Hi guys!

In MTJ (#3 I think) this is mentioned. At the time of the printing of MTJ #3 (somewhere in 1992-93) MT was published in a 3rd edition (yes, it's called that by the staff of DGP), that included a lot of errata. I don't know if that encompasses all the errata in the 40+-page errata document that is freely available on the web, but at least it's better than the previous printings. It also says there that this 3rd ed. in no way is identified as such on the box or in the books, so the only way to find out is to check manually (as Gruffty).

I have two copies of MT, one very battered that I got hold of a time ago and one in very good shape - good as new where the Players Manual has a stapled back as opposed to the usual (in Europe anyway) glued back. Well, I guess it's down to hard work...

Thanks anyway guys

/doc.

My understanding from doing a LOT of comparisons is that there is a last printing of the MT main books which included all of the errata in the 'September 1, 1990' sheet. It does NOT include the additional errata in the Consolidated 1993 sheet.

Which is VERY unfortunate.
