Interesting, my friend has been working on something similar for naval vessels in the UK...oops I may have breached the Official Secrets Act, oh dear never mind.
Anyway all I know is that they are using technology that was developed for aircraft but deemed unpractical but could work at sea, even making the vessel "microwave porous."
