Doom of the singing star

Whenever I have writers block, I cruise online gameshop & make wishlist. Doing so today I found 2 copies of Judges' Guild 'Doom of the Singing Star' at Noble Knight Games ( www.nobleknight.com ). One is listed as mint for $10.95, the other is listed as excellent for $9.00. It's one of JG's better Traveller entries with a large starliner's decklplans in 15mm. It's one of my favorites & the deckplans make a nifty hotel, too.

Most of that old JG stuff hasn't held up very well over the years. Some of it was pretty low-grade even for the late '70s, although I find it has great nostalgic value. Singing Star, though, was one of their best offerings. Probably worth ~$10, anyway, if the S&H is reasonable.

Noble Knight's good to order from, though I haven't able to afford to buy anything lately. As for shipping, unless they've changed, they ship Priority Mail & Fedex.

I agree with the verdict on some of the JG stuff.
