When the day comes that the market fragments beyond viability there will be no more official Traveller. We can all play our houserules and stare at the dusty collection, but there will be nothing new.
Well yes there would still be online communities but the question is if the market fragments anymore and people stop making products would there be any things more to buy for Traveller, well no more products then the answers no of course.
Your own collection might not be gaining dust as your using it but you will then being adding OOP products to it and not new stuff.
New stuff will just be peoples "house rules" posted online and not therefore Traveller as such.
There are more than enough existing rules. It will just be a question of Referees writing and playing their own adventures rather than waiting for new ones to be published.
Short of yet another rules re-write the only real new material of any importance are adventures.

2) You, flykiller, apparently do not follow instructions well.
3) You have drawn my attention away from writing said new *official Traveller products* to deal with you...
4) You seem unaware the new official Traveller products are still being produced (BITS, Avenger Press, SJG, and we hope, 2320AD)
