Cymbeline Chips - Who Used Them?

Having read the brain ship post on another part of these fine boards, I wonder if anyone ever used the Cymbeline chip from Signal GK?

I seem to recall we found a survivor in a TNE game and 'it' became our front line against Virus. I think it was something like that!!!

Who used them? In the end, just about everyone... descendants of the Cymbaline chips were incorporated into the transponder package of every ship operating in Imperial space.

The whole Virus concept is built on the chips from Cymbaline... get hold of a copy of Survival Margin - all will be revealed.

Sorry, I think I did not make what I was asking clear enough. I meant to say in Traveller games pre-TNE or the Signal GK chip (as a survivor)in the TNE era.
