I interpret this Hot world in Orbit-2 to be some kind of mostly oceans with archipelagos, islands, atols, and photic zone shelf reefs. The atmosphere is steamy warm to humid oppressive in the tropics and at the equator. With an abundance of liquid water, the islands are jungles if in temperate toward equator latitudes. Icecaps are present because the axial tilt is steeper than Terra's 23 degrees and the revolution about the G2V stellar primary is kinda slow, preventing the ice shelves from melting. Weather includes a rain cycle on archipelago mounts, islands, and feeds runoff streams. Insects, pouncers, grazers, reducers, scavengers are some of the fauna I interpret. Storms include typhoons, hurricanes, thunderstorms, waterspouts, mudslides, high winds (check for Turbulence in the stratosphere and troposphere). Volcanoes are a possibility as is tectonic earthquakes along fault lines. Heavy clouds gather on mountains and create a greenhouse of steamy jungles, with avian flocks gliding on prevailing winds.
Lack of sophont Population means someone has surveyed this planet and pre-determined the Feudal Technocracy at TL-3 to come if or when colonized. A colony here would seek freshwater runoff from sea volcano islands away from lava flow or dangerous pyroclasts or other ejecta. Lighter ships are advised to land in photic zone waters and tie off upon shallow reefs at first until land can be cleared as landing on the beaches risks storms, tides, tsunami, etc. If there are sophonts present, there has not been a census to ennumerate the Population digit. Indigenous, perhaps unaware of off-world weapon deadliness?
This planet in Orbit-2 of a G2V star means it's well inside the jump shadow. Ships will be halted at Orbit-3 and have to coast in-system, a commute that can take some time, allowing for Corsairs to jumpcuss Traders and the like.
