I just discovered the Combat Wombat miniatures website. They have some nice 15mm vehicle minis listed at some nice prices. I'm interested in purchasing some of their vehicles (or hint as Christmas presents) once my financial situation settles down. Does anyone know anything about them or have bought minis from?

Darkhstarr, I have a couple of the Combat Wombat castings. The only con I can think of is he likes reactive armour, so his minis require a goodly amount of sanding if you don't share his view. On the plus side, he uses good quality resin so a dremel makes quick work of any mods.

His delivery time is good - about a week or so.

There's a missile turret of his I've converted to a point defense sled here:

(scroll down to the sixth picture for the turret...)

Personally, I would suggest Ground Zero Games as the first stop for all AFV's Traveller-esque.

Thanks. The new dremel my wife bought me two Christmas' ago should do the job. I agree with Ground Zero Games' minis. Hopefully, I'll have some extra cash after getting our water pipes replaced to make another order from GZG.
