One thing I really like about T20 is that you use Gunner skill for vehicle and starship weapons. It turns out that a Professional or Academic is more likely ot have the skill points to put into Gunnery, whereas a Marine or Mercenary has got to be more careful. In a combat-heavy game a professional with Sensor-ops and Gunnery skils can be as much of a combat monster as a soldier-type.
