College/University: Pass/Fail rolls

I think I asked this question before, but I can't find the post, so I'll ask it again:

The pass/fail instructions differ between the instructions (page 77) and the table (page 100). The instructions say you roll once per year of attendance. But, the table says you roll 2x.

I can read that three ways:

Roll 4 times.

Roll 2 times.

Roll 8 times (2 per year).

There's an example on page 72 that says 4 times. That leads me to believe the 2 is a typo and should be 4. Also, the table on page 100 would be correct in the University column, assuming it should be 4x.

Does anybody know for sure?

Pass/Fail rolls

The roll is clearly once per year. The errata states that p. 100 is in error, and you should use p. 71:

"p. 100, Education-1, College (correction): Table states College: Pass/Fail 2x Int or Edu. Per page 71 should be College: Pass/Fail 4x Int or Edu." Since these are 4-year programs (usually taken in first term instead of career, ages 18-22), it is one roll per year.

Thank you. I looked at the errata, but I only looked at the page 71 stuff. Never thought of starting from the other end.

Oh, you'd have TIME, but not all versions will be allowed. It is getting plain from the errata that Traveller 5 has too many demons in it. :rofl:
