Character Card: Recording Knowledges

On p. 115 of T5.09 Core Rules, it states:

When noting the Knowledges that a Character has, they are recorded in the same way Skills are: the knowledge name plus the level.

However, this introduces ambiguities if the same knowledge name is used for different skills. I'm leaning towards recording them like so:

Driver(Grav)-1
Flyer(Grav)-1
Seafarer(Grav)-1

How do you do it?

My canon...

Well, in my publishing docs and freelance work I use the following.

Driver-0 (Grav-1).
Flyer-0 (Grav-1).
Seafarer-0 (Grav-1).

In the case of multiple Knowledges I list them all in the parenthesis, like so...

Fighter-2 (Beams-1, Unarmed-1).

Or for the Arts, Languages, Trades, or Sciences.

Art (Author-3, Dancer-1).

Languages (Anglic-12, Alien-11, Battle-10).

Trades (Explosives-2, Programming-1).

Sciences (Robotics-1, Sophontology-3).

Now, not sure if everyone will use my format but that is mine.

But then I am a heretic who messes with separating out the sections of his UWPs to make them a bit easier to read, but insists on using all hex all the time.

In the case of multiple Knowledges I list them all in the parenthesis, like so...

Fighter-2 (Beams-1, Unarmed-1).

To be clear, this is getting fighter 4 times, the first 2 giving the knowledges, the last 2 giving fighter 2.

So with any weapon they have skill level 2, but with lasrifle or fisticuffs they have skill level 3

Magnus, I like your formats. It makes it clear whether the next receipt of a skill should be a knowledge or a skill level and how the skill level adds to the knowledge level.

Soldier Skills, Arts and Trades are like the old cascade skills. Soldier Skills has odd cases where the cascade skills like Fighter and Heavy Weapons also have knowledges. So three levels deep.

In my case of a programming project, I want one skill or knowledge per line in a list. That's how I came up with my suggestion for how to do it.
