Ran,

This is AWESOME. This looks like a Subsector Duke's subsector status map to me. This would look like something from Traveller for reals all etched out of brass. Or glass.

What size is each hex in this version? 1" ?

I suggest experimenting with fonts more, the one for the fine print is a great font, but may not be the best for going small like that.

Very, very cool! Up it goes on the fridge!

Awesome, thanks for the praise!
The fonts are set such that it is legible (and somewhat future-ish), atleast to me, when printed on normal paper. So the hexes end up being roughly an inch or so in size.

OK, it's true I totally dig DGP and well, *happy sigh* the SOM has been many an hour of comfort snuggled up with it and a light (but dimmed for Jump :p). So I am kinda biased. :D

Thanks again, and can one get that, or Grand Survey for that matter anymore? Can I say that I really miss DGP's stuff. Always wanted my Jump Physics 101 Hypertext-1100 standard. (Vol. 10, or something in the Tradition of DGP teasing us with the SOM, us thinking that the SOM (Vol. 2) would come out and I think it like Solomani and Aslan or some such labeled clearly (Vol. 2). Ah, the end of a Dream, that Vol.

Well for SOM the Vol 1 thing was a last minute lash onto the cover according to an interview I read somewhere.
