looking at some of the cargo available in the speculative cargo list, i started thinking about that old Star Trek episode 'The Trouble With Tribbles'.
between hijackers, pirates, stowaways, ships past due for maintenance, or just plain Murphy's Law, u could end up with any thing from a bad smell that can't be gotten rid of for a few months to some serious damage to the ship just as u go into jump space. sure, you almost lost your life and/or the ship, and you couldn't get a passenger to board because of the smell for 3 months, but now it's a great story when you visit the Captains Keg at the starport.
