Canon Problems in MT books?

It may be absurd to ask, but are there known canon problems in MegaTraveller? Things that have been rejected since MT gave way to later editions? Gotchas that are important for people to know?

If there are gotchas I think they would be included in the Consolidated MT Errata and/or here in the MT section of the COTI forums.

Yes, Don did a herculean feat in all of the collected errata he handled and I hope the candidate does take over soon.

Most of MT canon issues are in three areas:
technology changes (jump drive fuel for example)
some technology rules being based on 77CT rather than 81CT/HG2
fanon become canon and then being made unavailable

Or based on Striker, for that matter. The Striker conversions are where most of the big tech changes started.

While not evident until recently with the T5SS, the quick march into TL16 that was so common in MT has been stripped out of the setting.

More subjectively, I think MT also was responsible for making the Imperium more connected and cosmopolitan than CT seemed to.
