Bow Before My J-1 Empire!

I was indulging in my favorite pasttime, poking around Traveller Map, for interesting places or new things. And then I found a J-1 Main that could be the basis for a serious J1 Empire.

TRAVELLER MAP
=> Activate Mains in the Lab
=> Click on ANY planet in the Arret Subsector of Darret Sector [Trailing from Solomani Rim, Rimward from Hivers].

The only Main that can compete with it is the Gushmege/Vland, I think.

EDIT: Oops. Just found another... from Lishun to Gashikan. Hmmm... that one looks like a cool plot-device.

After tracing the two huge mains near Vland and the Imperial Core, I sketched a ATU map where the Rift continues all the way across the map, with the Imperial Core an egg-shape in the middle of it. The connections to coreward and rimward were two mains.

The huge Vilani main almost has to exist to explain why the Vilani Empire did not expand to coreward-spinward. There were easier options available in the other direction.

Totally agree. I have used this before just to see what Mains are out there and you got me looking at it again. Both the Vilani and Lishun Mains are just masive spreading over multiple sectors. Then I started looking at Dagudashaag and it has two addition mains that cover large swaths of it and the Core sector. So easy to see why the Vilani went where they did.
