Dr. Becky Smethhurst is, as the Bwi'ish would say ... a bit of a character ... as an astrophysicist (and a youtuber).
She even includes a blooper reel at the end of her videos showing all the takes where she messes up.
Oh I'm sure she's a fine person and presenter, there's just this thing on YouTube with the ... banner images...whatever those static video images they use are called, having someone with a SHOCK FACE or something equally unnatural.
As a human being, we react to faces (which is why people use them in promotions), that's also why I don't care for them. I really don't care for banner ads with people in them. Just having people staring back at me.
