Birthday is coming up

I almost didn't click when I saw "goaste" in the link, but it was just my possible mild dyslexia :) I don't think I'll type what I thought I saw. I'm sure some of you know what I thought I saw :smirk:

It's not that at all :D Worth a look for sure. In a bit of a nostalgic mood myself this week*, thanks for the link kafka :)

* though focused on other childhood interests...

TTA has been "revised and redone"... I've only gotten the TTA RPG. It's actually quite nice. Used the same engine as Talislanta.

You too?

Thank God. I thought there was something wrong with me ... :D

I wasn't going to fess up, but since you two did: me too.

Something wrong with all of us maybe :D

(Just because we know about it doesn't really mean anything, right guys... )

EDIT: Apologies for distracting from your thread kafka, we now return to better memories...

...oh, and a belated early Happy Birthday to you, and many more :)

The book at the first link I hadn't seen before today. Pretty cool. As for the TTA stuff, more than one of my early Traveller campaigns started out with "you are at a bar in Miami Spaceport." There are so many vivid memories I have associated with those TTA books. Cool ships. Inspiring stories. I dare say most of my inspiration came from those books, with the rest coming from original BSG, Star Wars and Star Trek, with a dash of UFO and Space:1999, topped off with a dollop of Leif Ericson.

I am getting old...I don't see it or maybe because I was thinking back to the Usborne book which is where the link takes you.

Anyhow, b-day is not for another week...celebrate it in style...hopefully getting a game of Traveller in at a local pub and polishing things off by having the next day off work.

Love the "1980s semi-truck"... and why were they using a Ford Pinto for the hybrid car?
