The following was on display at the Association of the United States Army convention

"An example of planned things to come - the Personal Combat Vehicle (PCV) considered wearable energetically autonomous robotics. This is not a suit of powered armor; instead it is a set of hard-shell body armor along with an information-delivering filly protected helmet system. Along the sides of the legs and on the back of this model are the powered articulated leg supports. The leg supports run from a power supply carried on the back of the PCV and allow the wearer to carry much heavier loads of gear for longer distances without fatigue. Not quite the six-million-dollar man of the 1970s, the PCV system will allow a soldier to almost double his normal walking or running speed over all kinds of terrain while packing a planned 190 pound payload. The mockup weapon this model is carrying in its gauntlet is the 25mm XM307 Advanced Crew Served Weapon."
