With Trav being our "Holiday Season" pick up game we gave our decade(+) runing games a miss this year, we tried for a Solamani game that hasn't died (yet) but cant go forward due to secluding conflicts, we have some Solos but the group game that has stuck is what we are calling BSP.
Barsic is a world fare beyond the Imperim (if it is in the OTU), it is firmly at TL5 with most of the technological anomalies that Sol-3 experienced in the late 30's to mid 40's, it experienced it's first Global War almost a generation ago where the Pan-Continental Axis was able to force the Imperial League and Union of Peoples Revolutions to Terms. the War was originally between the a bloc that disappeared during the course of the war and was replaced by the Union and the League, the Axis was a pseudo-nutral bloc that tentatively supported the League and dissolved before the diplomats could return from the Armistices confrance, but that war is old news, new Blocs have arisen from the old and have started to tread the path to Global War again. Brush wars have bean going on since before the end of the last Global War.
Huntra is a former Axis nation, though not as advanced in most fields as the Grate Powers they have bean able to put men in to space using a combination of Scram-jets & Rockets and orbit a lot of space junk using Rockets alone (the radio beacons they tried to send up didn't survive to orbit at first). during the third rocket powered maned orbital mission they encountered an Extra-Stellar of unbelievable size (200Dtons), Huntra's orignal two space programs have bean scaled back to make room for a third focused around the "ES-1"
Flight Leftenant Sean Blake, 7B9AA8, 22years, Helmsman
a Brush-wars Veteran who joined the Space Plane program after Huntra was able to extricate itself from the last of it's combative engagements, he was selected for Helmsman after he showed proficiency with both the ES-1's controls and that of the Skiff.
Leftanant Myron Daniels, 788AB9, 22years, Orbital Mechanics
An Experienced CIC operator he was attending the Advanced Navigation School at the Huntra National Observatory, also studding Astronomy, he was the only Navy Officer with a background that covered both astronomy and a board based electronics background that was able to pass the Space Flight Physical and not die in space flight accidents.
Captain Layla Kraft, 7A8CC6, 22years, Electronic Engine Sciences & Extra-Stellar Linguistics
Originally with the Army's Inelegance Operations Deteriorate she was soon moved over to Crypto & Cypher Analysis after she earned advanced degrees in Mathematics & Electronics, once there she made a number of breakthroughs in Electronic Engines (Computers), after the arrival of the ES-1 she was on the team that worked on the Extra-Stellar Language, she was the person that cracked the Extra-Stellar Electronic Engine and is one of the leading minds in both Barsic and Extra-Stellar Electronic Engines.
Clara Eden 687CC7, 22Years, Physicist & Engineering Annalist
The Research Assistant & Mistress of one of Barsic's top Physicists she herself is one of the top scientists of the emerging generation, though she herself has yet to make any discovries she has bean instrumental in helping unravel some of the Mysteries of the ES-1.
