Astrography 101: Help me find....

kaladorn

SOC-14 1K
I'm working on a listing of all published adventures for traveller. Part of the venture is locating them in temporal and spacial terms.

Some that I'm having some trouble with and could use help with:

1. Glenshiel (Ref: Ascent to Anekthor) is a planet in Reaver's Deep. But is the subsector name? It's part of the Principality of Caledon.

2. Raschev and Alenzar (Chamax Plague/Horde) are both allegedly in some sector "next to the Darrian Subsector". Any idea what Sector and Subsector these would therefore reside in?

That's it for now. I'm sure others will come up. I'm probably only about 1/6th done the total list of adventures and undoubtedly there are ones I've never heard of yet....

Glenshiel is located in the subsector of Caledon. It is at 1912 on my Galactic map - subsector G...

...And, according to my map, Raschev (3230) and Alenzar (3229) are in the Reidain Subsector of Foreven Sector...

Thanks, MADDog. Now for more of a poser: Where in the OTU is the Outrim Void?

If I read Kinunuir (or was it Leviathan) correctly, I thought it was in what one might now call either a chunk of the Marches or a chunk of Trojan Reach.

What's the official goods on this or the 'common unofficial goods' if there are no official goods...?

Where is this located? Or is it retcon'd out of existence?

And thanks for the info on Glenshiel and Foreven.

Tom,

'Leviathan', although there may have been brief mentions in earlier stuff like Kinunir.

The OutRim Void in Leviathn refers to the Trojan Reach, specifically the Egyrn (B) and Pax Rulin (C) subsectors. I've always handwaved it as a local astrographic term like the Lanth Abyss. Compared to the subsectors they border, system density in Egyrn and Pax Rulin is rather sparse.

Just as you suspect, the term as originally used was retconned away.

Reidain is Subsector L of Forveven, just to the 'left' of the Darrian Subsector.

Sincerely,
Larsen

P.S. got your note. Would .txt, .rtf, or .doc suit?

I shall append a note to that effect.

Since it'll end up in an HTML table, just text would be fine and I can add the HTML table and formatting tags myself. Just leave a space or two between each entry to make my cut-n-paste job easy.
