Artificial Gravity in Starships

I don't remember the answer to this but what is the OTU view on artificial gravity on starships? Is it created by a device of some kind or mechanical means (e.g. rotation)?

I think it's a case of "Don't worry about it"

If the players are really pushing - "It's a by-product of the reactionless drive"

IF they really must know, make something up.
"The gravitic drive generates a gravity sump that acts as an inertial compensator and allows the generation of full gravity throughout the ship"

In MT they use "grav plates" and "inertial compensators"....
