Armour descriptions

binky

SOC-12
I don't currently have access to a T4 rulebook or CSC. I'm trying to graft BITS' At Close Quarters on to other rules systems (CT or T5) but don't have descriptions of the armour types to make sense of them.

T4 doesn't seem to include Jack or Mesh, but does have Flex and Diplo.

Could some kind soul either point me at suitable descriptions online or maybe post them here.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I can tell T4 flex is the equivalent of a MT combat environment suit or perhaps cloth(remember, T4 cloth is rugged outdoor clothing). It is described as a full body harness composed of ballistic cloth.

Diplo resembles mesh in that it is hidden within clothing and protects vital organs. It equates to MT mesh or perhaps a flak jacket.

Hope this helps.

That helps explain it a bit.

Some of the armour values make it more confusing (cloth is 1F, Flex ranges through 2 to 5, also going from rigid to hard)

I think I'll just set on some values and use those.

Thanks for the info.
