You're a bit to far south for me (Everett). But I believe there is a group that meets in Tacoma on a weekly basis that you might be ableto skim from.

Well, I'm not in a Traveller game at the moment. Running & playing in a few others, if your intrested in joining. If you start a Traveller game up in this neck of the woods, i should be able to join.

I don't too much of a problem with the every other weekend. Have you found a location to play at? My place is trashed (remodeling) and starting with the next quarter of college, the other games are going to be on friday evenings at the friends place that we have now. So a good location is a must.
As for being a ref, I haven't been one in a Mechwarrior game, but have for every other game I've been in.
And as for mechs? I don't know. I've never seen one in game before. How would you go about building it?

I was thinking CT because i have the first 3 books for it I also have acces to alot of megat and i have the main book for NE as well as Fire, Fusion, and Steel. I do play 3rd edition DnD which uses the same system as T20 (D20 system) so i can adapt (o and Starwars D20 system too)

But for location I was thinking my mom and stepdad's apartment or something public that will allow us to game considering the only gaming store was takenout for another *5000 put to many* antique shop.

I'm at a loss on a public location. The only one that I know of (Games Plus) is in Smoky Point, and even then you still have to sign out the room in advance. I 'think' they have a month waiting list.
If the weather is nice, (big IF there) we could play down by the river. But like I said, that's a big if.
As for where you can buy, Games Plus has stuff, but it's mostly d20 stuff. Gary's Collectables here in Everett has a lot of stuff. Every now and then Half Price Books has stuff.

AD&D (any thing BEFORE 3rd Ed), BESM, SLA Industries, Star Wars (WEG), White Wolf (been a while and I'm not into vampire politics), Rolemaster, Toon, Paranoia, Kult, Gurps, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, Paladium (Original, SDC, MDC, Rifs, etc...), Mechwarrior 3rd, and just started learning Battletech. These are the games I have books for. I have other small production game books too, i.e. "Tinker's Damn" and such. I'm willing to learn and play most games, but have a major reservation against most d20 stuff. I don't know why.

Do you have the ability to refree Ad&d 2nd edition if so i could play that. Considering i have the core rule books for 3rd.

I am most certainly able to run a 2nd Ed game, and have extra PHB's. Glad I piequed your intrest in my collection.
I have a couple of guys that might join in. One is a definite no as college has him booked Mon ~ Thur, Fri is a roundabout game (3 games in rotation of play) and the weekends he goes up to Camino(sp) Island.
No problem on Gary's, I want him to stay in buisness.
I think I figured out my reservation. 1: The conversion of 2nd to 3rd, really messed up my some of my pcs. 2: The added complexity of generation over 2nd. 3: They really didn't produce anything new, just rehash of the 2nd Ed stuff. (This may have changed now, but it really did deter me from getting intrested in the first place)

i got BESM Dungeon this weekend because of no Warhammer (stupid Lewis County... o well) pretty good looking game if you ask me my freind liked it also. let him barrow it though in extange for his game cube as a hostage.. err um Calaterale thats it yes. wanting to play very much. like the idea of Anime

I think the base setting is during to CT timeframe (I think). The 1248 book, will be set in the future, advancing TNE.
