MGT Only: Anyone converted the FASA ships for Mongoose Traveller?

I was wondering if anyone had converted any of the ships from the FASA Deck Plan Modules or the Adventure Class Ships series for use with Mongoose Traveller or had any advice on how to do so.

I will admit to having been tempted to include the 'Fenris' and her 'Valkyrie (Cobra MkIII)'s in the 'Pirates of Drinax' campaign.

Specifically, No.

But I have used the provided final stats converted to MgT terms.

MgT Alien: Zhodani (by Don McKinney) includes MgT-converted stats for many of the Zhodani vessels included in the FASA deckplan publications.

Thanks, I'm still surprised that no one has created a conversion document. I'd found some notes I'd started to make towards a listing of ships featured in Traveller publications which indicated what edition they had been created for, I might revive it.

This was something I was looking at doing. I was also looking at converting many of my old TNE designs (www.skaran.net) using Mongoose HG2 but most of these have spinal and parallel mounts fitted to smaller hulls then Mongoose rules would allow. For these I was considering replacing them with bay weapons of various sizes.

I think that was the intent all along. In smaller ships, spinal mounts take up about the same volume that bays did in CT/MT.
