Any Traveller games around Virginia Beach, Va?

There was back in 82-84, when I last played :( You may want to check with ODU to see if they still have a gaming club.

there were a couple of older people, but the majority were actual students. And several were in other gaming groups as well, so it may be at least a place to start. I can't remember any game stores (and after 20+ years I doubt they are still around: game shops have an odd half-life) but that would be a good place to look as well. With that huge university next door there are bound to be a few shops.

Just think of the wisdom you could share :o! It could make for some interesting games.

Dude! Where in HR do you want to play?! I have my only joy from a PbP game (admittedly it's the official 30th Anniversary CT game :D ) right now, and would love to try some FtF gaming. PM me, please.

(And, no, there aren't many FLGS around here. :P Even around the colleges.)

Campaign Headquarters???

When I was stationed in the area, there was a game shop at Wards Corner called: "Campaign Headquarters." It had a lot of military in it but it was a good source for people in rpg's there.

Hell, I even ran some Traveller games there. (86-88)

Hey Iron Wolf,

I know of "Campaign Headquarters", but it is not the same place that you remember. I have been here in VB since 92 and it has changed a lot just in that time. Now it is more geared around a lot younger (teens) crowd, and does not have as much gaming supplies. Plus the staff is not what I would call friendly anymore.
