"All these worlds are yours..."

Well I am starting a new sector in the Andromeda Galaxy, I did Subsector 11, and if you want to know where that is in the Andromeda Sector, the subsectors are arranged like this:
01-02-03-04
05-06-07-08
09-10-11-12
13-14-15-16

Just pick a Sector to put it in. Sub sectors are 8 parsecs thick as well as measuring 8 hexes across and 10 down, so for random placement just roll a 1d8 to determine which layer in which hex after determining 50% presence in each hex. Alternatively roll 6d6 star systems and roll 1d8 to determine the first 2 digits of the hex number, 1d10 to determine the second 2 digits of the hex number ("0" counts as 10 if it's a 0-9 ten-sided die), and finally roll another 1d8 to determine the layer. If you want you could put your world Honi C844789-7 Ag S "The Coin" in subsector 10 if you want, did you roll for star type by the way? The way I do my worlds, I include the system type Solo, Binary, Trinary, and then I roll for star type, the most massive star becomes the primary if there is more than one star. If the Star is Solo, I list it as "Solo", if it is part of a multi-stage system, the most massive star gets the label "primary" instead of "solo" other wise if it's not the most massive star, then it gets the label "binary" or "trinary" you should look at my "Andromeda Sector" post for examples. As for races, it has all the standard Traveller races plus the StarDrive races and the Star Frontiers races as they are described in "d20 Future" they convert easily enough to classic and Mongoose Traveller I think, you halve their ability score adjustments and Constitution becomes Endurance, Wisdom becomes Intelligence, and d20 Intelligence becomes Education, Charisma becomes Social Standing.

So you have a 3D map... will you follow Traveller conventions with "Jump Space" essentially being 2D? I'm intrigued because if you do, then that greatly increases the value of jump drives over NAFAL drives... assuming for "direct journeys" using NAFAL the layer WILL matter for total distance.
