Additional Ship Components in LBB-2 Designs

T20 sort-of equates to HG2.

  • Sickbay: 8 dTons: MCr5</font>
  • Autodoc: 2 dTons: MCr10</font>
  • Laboratory: 8 dTons: MCr5</font>
I can see no reason these components can't be used verbatim in CT:Book 2.

The autodoc has been changed in errata to:</font>

I seem to remember reading that in the errata. Unfortunately, I don't always remember to consult the errata every single time I pick up my rulebook.

You mentioned six Ship Troops/bodyguards. May I suggest that their space can be reorganized with double occupancy cabins, with the 6 dton "liberated" used as their training area/dojo. That will be a 4.5x6m (15x20') room, probably a 15x15 foot hand-to-hand mat combined with a virtual firing range. The 4.5x1.5m (15x5') strip down one wall behind a wall of net holds a treadmill, weightmachine, and a locker for pads and practice weapons. You could steal a little from their common area tonnage, too, add another excersise machine and maybe a 'fresher.

No extra tons or cost, since this is part of their normal living/working space, unless you feel generous

So, what about crew requirements and capacity? I suggest the following:

Simple Lab: 1 Scientist required
Advanced Lab: 1 Scientist required
Extended Medlab: 1 Doctor (Medic-2+) required and up to two patients could be treated simultanously.
Lounge: up to 20 people could be seated in it.
Casino: Requires three operators and could serve up to 15 gmblers.
Bar: Requires one bartender and may sit up to 12 persons (but usually this will be connected to a lounge).
High Class Kitchen: Requires one Chef and one Assistant Chef and may cook meals for up to 50 persons at once.
Vilani Kitchen: Requires one Chef and two Assistant Chefs and may cook meals for up to 50 persons at once.
Karaoke Bar: Requires one operator/barender and may sit up to 16 persons (but usually this will be connected to a lounge).
Tax Free Shop: Requires one salesperson.
Restaurant (excluding kitchen): Requires 4 waiters and may seat up to 40 persons.
Grav Ball Court: May host a regular Grav Ball game (how many people is that?).
Spa: Requires two operator and may bath up to 15 persons at once.
Brewery: Requires 5 workers.
Refinery: Requires 5 workers; is it a Belter refinery?
Library: Requires one librarian and may seat up to 5 persons.
