Zhodane Sector Notes?

I have been reading over the Zhodane Sector UWP notes and noticed some odd, non-standard codes.

  • D1
  • D2
  • D3
  • D4
  • C1
  • C2
  • C3
  • C4

Much of that data was written by William Dover ("Aeontrin") and Clayton R. Bush of the HIWG in the late 1980's after Classic Traveller Alien Module 4 Zhodani was written.

*** Does anyone know what those non-standard codes mean? ***

Thank you!

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I don't know if that may apply here, but usually, D# means droyne presence (# x 10% of population is Droyne), and C# chiper presence (same, but for chipers).

Might it be this?

This is correct.

Those might not all be populations from the Ancient period. The Zhodani revere Droyne as psionicists, and allow them freedom of movement and non-interference within their territories. Although their colonies would still need to meet Zhodani requirements (a minimum size for mental health), they are allowed to make new colonies. And not only have Droyne served in the highest councils of the Consulate before, but just before the 5FW, one is again elected.

Thanks, Don! Great insight.

It's in my drafts for Droyne and the second Zhodani sectorbook. I need to clone myself.
